We are experienced bathroom and laundry renovators and have performed 100s of bathroom and laundry renovations. Our team are all licensed contractors which is a must, especially for electrical and plumbing work.

The process for a complete bathroom or laundry renovation usually includes strip out and demolition, waste removal, wall lining, plumbing, screeding, sand cement bed, waterproofing, tiling and fit out of furnishings. All work is completed to the Australian Standard and the Australian Building Code. We will also give you a warranty certificate.

Waterproofing

We are licensed to apply waterproofing to wet areas that require tiling.

Waterproofing is required for any wet areas in preparation for laying tiles. It is a protective treatment designed to prevent the penetration of water or moisture. The protective treatment used is a solid membrane or membranes usually by brush or roller.

Some of the common places where waterproofing is mandatory are bathrooms, showers, laundry, and terraces.

Before waterproofing, we usually lay a sand cement bed to the floor area of your bathroom, and set the right drainage to the floor wastes. This creates the dimensions of your floor and once the sand cement bed has dried we apply the waterproofing membrane.

Our waterproofing complies with the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards (AS 3740-1994), and we can supply a waterproofing certificate.

Once the waterproofing membrane has dried we are able to lay the wall and floor tiles, put grout (you'll choose grout colour), internal corners filled with a silicone adhesive, and any other work required to complete your job.

Demolition, Screeding & Waste Removal

Whether you're looking to tile a new house, tile for an extension project, renovate or replace exisiting tiles, we're here to make the process as easy and smooth as possible.

Demolition - we have experience demolishing and stripping out specific areas of dwellings.

For renovations, we will perform all aspects of tile removal, remove exisiting substrates, bathroom and kitchen strip out to original framework and waste removal.

Alternatively, if it’s not advisable to tile directly over existing tiles, due to the current condition of your wall and floor area, (with your go ahead) we will demolish and clean up any foundations. This is before any tiling or renovation work is begun.

Screeding - to achieve a level floor we recommend sand and cement screeding before tiles are laid. We are extremely experienced in screeding and it's not an easy job.

The sand cement screed is a mixture of sand and cement laid on your floor using levels and lasers for complete accuracy. You will be left with a level surface that is flat and straight, ready for your tiles to be laid. Unfortunately, we have seen quite a few screeding jobs performed by others that we have had to fix because they were not level. We are more than happy to discuss options and offer you the best solution.

Waste Removal - Every job is different, and depending on the size of your project, we will discuss the most cost effective waste removal option. Some customers dispose of the waste directly, some ask me to dispose of it and others require a skip bin which we can arrange.

Tile Repairs

If you have cracked, damaged or chipped tiles, we're here to help. If you don't have any spare tiles that are the same, we can help source the replacement tile(s).
